Slight rant
Why is it that people ask for advice then argue with you when you give it, then carry on and do what they were going to anyway?!
If they already knew, why did they ask?!

calm yourself rob jeeeeeeeez:d
Because when the answer makes the question look silly they feel they have to justify themselves asking it in the first place. IMO :)
Look Rob, It was wedged up there tight. I asked about using butter, you said try Vaseline but I used butter anyway.
It worked and I don't have to face the nurses in casualty.

Your youthful looks will serve you well later though!!:eyebrows:

Last week same thing happened to me. Some guy was lost in the city and asked for direction. I say he's on the wrong side of town and has to walk several miles to reach the trainstation. His answer "no no the station has to here. I'll find it myself then" and walks off
So why even bother helping those people ...

Like garage owners that tell you they can take out a Supra rear bearing with a sledge hammer and a socket, despite the Toyota workshop manual stating a 20t press ;)
Jazz and his clown car wheel camber / tyre combo springs to mind.
Sounds like our current government
Why pick on the current one, has it ever been different?
Why pick on the current one, has it ever been different?
Because i live in the present ;) :d but yes they all have their own agendas
Advice is exactly what it says "advice", not a difinitive answer, no one has to accept it

Good question...

And probably the best answer, I have ever heard, pure brilliance...

Nah decat pipes
Edit:- Just noted all XS-Powers de-cat down pipes are for the JZA80 engine isn't that the MKIII? The MKIV is 2JZ right?
Interesting i'm having an XS-Power exhaust fitted today (Cat-Back) Although I only paid for Cat-Back they sent the whole system including the section of pipe that would replace the CATs (from good ole USA) although i'm not using it..!
Rob or anyone I presume I shouldn't buy from them again in the future then!!!? ;)

JZA80 is the car model
2JZ-GTE is the TT engine
2JZ-GE is the NA

The exhaust itself appears to be ok and at least fits without bodging.
The decats have an extra hole in them for the cat temp sensor, but its apparently too far away so the guy was asking how to lengthen the wires to it, then we got onto why he should fork out a whole £70 on a new O2 sensor when they are only £10 on ebay!
It was at that point that i gave up...
