probrox
Anyone tried Avon ZZ3's? Phoned for tyre prices just now and was given a price of £102 for the fronts and £120.22 for the rears for the ZZ3's. Just wanted to find out how good they are before i book the car in. Tyre sizes are: 245/40ZR18 Front 275/35ZR18 Rear Also, if anyone's got any other suggestions/prices I'd be grateful to hear them. Thanks Phil
Guest Nicholas
They're pretty good I'd say next best if you can't stretch to Toyo T1R's

R Black
I now have Toyo's they're very good on a Supra but so are Goodyear Eagle F1's & Bridgestone Potenza RE 050 A, some tyre makes are good on one car type and not others.
Dragonball
Very good article in the EVO last month on tyres Eagles came out top in a very comprehensive test Scanner isn't happy at Mo or would put it up...
tDR
Falken FK-452's all the way for me - excellent performance wet and dry and probably the same kinda price as these ZZ3's.
SupraGirlie
Falken FK-452's all the way for me - excellent performance wet and dry and probably the same kinda price as these ZZ3's. I have these on at the moment, I think their pretty good, I paid under 390 delivered for 2 x 265/35/18 and 2 x 235/40/18 from these guys http://www.montyswheelsandtyres.com/ can't find cheaper than that. Pig
I have just got a set of toyo's - grip is amazing, dont think there great on wear. Not fussed about that though
robin
I have zz3's on the front and toyo t1r's on the rear. I dont rate the ZZ3's very highly. There are loads that are worse and and plenty that are better. I find the car tends to understeer with them on and they squeek quite a bit when pushed. Jamesy
does the price go up a lot if your running with 19's?
hoff
Ive got the Avon ZZ3's. They are excellant in the dry, but not that great in the wet. Im going to go for some Toyos next I think, but all mentioned in the previous posts are very good tyres.
