  1. 1. Gauge preference

    • Simple, one or two with single functions

    • Complex, fill the dash where I can see everything at once

    • Hybrid, two gauges with a switch box for all the sensors

Just sat wondering looking at my gauge/dash options and it got to wondering what people go for these days. Purely curious more than anything else.

I'm going for a simple 1 or 2 60mm display with various sensors connected (egt, afr, temps that sort of thing), and I'll be able to switch between them easily.

I've put a poll on it.

Gone for hybrid as it's closest to what I have. I'd have a dual display jobbie that can show two 'events' on one face.

It's only ricers that feel the need to put guages in their mouths and sneaze at the dash. I saw a 700bhp Escort Cosworth the other day- amount of aftermarket guages- none. Same story for 600bhp Porsches, 1000bhp Vipers....

What you using to switch between....?

And are you saying one gauge can display different measurments ?

I do indeed have an option in mind, plx devices, it is basically a little oled display which can be customized, displays up to 4 items at once or a combo there of.. up to 32 sensors per chain as well I believe.
