I'm just about to stick my new 19's on next week as my current tyres are fooked , i was very reluctant to put them on this side of winter as i'm not prepared to buy some new tyres for my 18's just for winter .

Any ideas what to coat them in before winter ?

Would somethging like clear waxoil do the job then just remove it in the spring ?
