Hi there

I'm hoping to purchase a Supra shortly and I don't know a great deal about these cars, my previous car was a Honda Accord Type R which I sold a wee while ago.

I was just wondering if there was any known faults that was worth checking out before considering purchasing, I know he mentioned something about a speed sensor being replaced and that the car is still speed limited to 115 (Jap Import)... it has only 65k on the clock apparently..

Does it cost a lot to unlock the Speed restriction?

Any advice I would be greatful for to give me a little more confidence before checking it out.

It's certainly a lovely looking car, always fancied one - even if it's only an auto non turbo...

Hello and :welcome:

Have a read through the FAQ section, there's a 'what to look for when buying a supra' section if I remember correctly.

It doesn't cost much to remove the limiter, about £100 for a good delimiter + speed converter I think (was a long time ago I bought mine though).

Hope you enjoy the supra. :)
