Christ on a bike! Whoever thought these nightmares up? That thing in Swindon should be bulldozed.

Well I have only driven on one of those and that is the London Circle in Canberra, and it's not bad at all, I managed to get to the parliamant building easily enough.

I've been thruogh that one in Swindon, scary stuff! Luckily I was taking the 1st exit.

I don't get it though, why not just have one big round-a-bout??

Beautiful.......all of them!!

I personally would't like the responsibility of designing one a junction as design and practice are never the same!!

Hemel Hempstead has a magic roundabout too? I found it weird at first but now it seems ok.

Ah, the magic roundabout. It looks really bad from there, but I've never had a problem with it. Most people are quite timid at that junction and so most times I've driven round there I've just gone straight over, not giving way to anyone. It sounds really irresponsible, but I've been no-where near having an accident there.

Disclaimer: I've never gone near there in a rush hour though!

The magic roundabout in swindon is mental, i grew up/learnt to drive around there and shortly after passing had to drive a transit van round it, i stuck to the blokes bumper who was following and just went for it, wouldnt wish that thing on anyone!! You see the sign for it and think its a piss take, but oh no :d:blink:

This roundabout in Barcelona got my attention when I drove round it - check out how many lanes there are!

The Magic Roundabout's great :) - I used to use it when going to my old other office at the Tri-Center, my passengers usually looked a bit nervous though :)

I did that one recently, it is a bit of a nightmare.

I use the magic roundabout in Hemel every day on the way to work and it works really well even during rush hour Normal roundabout that size with traffic lights would be a nightmare to get round.

Swindon's magic roundabout works amazingly well - most directions you can easily drive straight across it without coming to a halt. If it was one big roundabout, with the volume of traffic coming at it from different directions in disproportionate amounts, it'd be a nightmare, so no doubt they'd end up putting traffic lights on it as well and foul it up even more.
