I'm wanting to change my diff fluid soon and was wondering if Halfords 75w90 gear oil (part synthetic) would be fine to use. They dont seem to sell a fully synthetic version :( but it's only £6.99/litre :) I'm sure it's going to be better than whats in there seen as I dont know when it was last changed and it's probably going to be filthy.

Oh, thought I better mention I have a TT auto (GZ) and to the best of my knowledge it has a LSD.

you can check if it has LSD from the vin plate on offside inner wing just under bonnet. cant remember the number but it will come up if you do a search. maybe in the supra guides or tech section somewhere
