Jamesy Posted October 4, 2007 Share Posted October 4, 2007 ...just wondered if any members are handy with a bit of filling and spraying? where my rear windows have been replaced with side vents, there are a couple of small cracks where the filler is appearing. Tricky-Ricky Posted October 4, 2007 Share Posted October 4, 2007 The trouble with fixing your problems Jamesy, is that you need to get to the underlying cause of the cracking, otherwise it will just do it again, the other problem is that its going to be difficult to match and blend your paint, as you don't know what it is, as i said before it really needs a body shop, i can do bodywork and paint to a pretty good standard, but as i don't have premises, and i wouldn't take it on I'm afraid, got plenty to do on mine anyway;) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Jamesy Posted October 4, 2007 Author Share Posted October 4, 2007 fair enough bud. apparently it was caused due to the original fitters not putting enough filler (or flexible filler) around the edge. i do have the paint code now though - found it with all the reciepts.
