Hi all :) Can anyone help? For a long time now i've been losing coolant. I've had the engine tuned upto about 450bhp. i can tell when it's time to top up as you can hear the air gurgling around the heater matrix. I've recently had the valve stem seals done, so the head gasket was replaced as a matter of course. The rad and cap are new, there are no obvious leaks, and the floor is dry. There is nothing to show that the water pump has had it neither. It seems to lose it more under higher boost. I top up the rad and a little in the expansion bottle, but even that water dissapears!! Any suggestions??

Any white smoke(vapours) out the back of your car?
Would point to a headgasket problem if there was. Could just be loosing it through a bad hose mate dont dispair :)
Im also loosing coolant, but mine is lobbing it straight in to the expansion tank, i keep having to empty it back in to the radiator

Hi Marty, There is no smoke at all, the turbo's are new and my previous problem of smoke was cured when the non existant valve seals were replaced. The job was done about a month ago and was put back together with a HKS head gasket. The engine is still really sweet... just still got this annoying coolant loss :(

Mine used to loose water (never leaked) because the heater matrix was blocked. So i assume the matrix used to clear slighty so took some more water. Since cleaning out the matrix and bleeding the system, it has been fine since :)
