Would this be tacky???

Looks like a really good idea and I'l have to give it a go....

but i was wondering whether it would look tacky to maybe go a different colour other than black for the floor mats?

I have a blue car with cream leather interior. I was thinking maybe blue or cream????

I think you'd have problems trying to lighten a carpet right down to cream, but it would look nice.

So I went for black.

Yeh that is a point...but I think cream would look lovely. Maybe many coats?

Im thinking of trying out in bright blue to see what it looks like, and then maybe go black afterwards if I dont like it.
