Gearbox in other toyotas

hi, just wanna know if the gearbox from the supra N/A 5-speed manual was ever used in any other toyota's. this is only cos my mate was told the other day toyota used the hilux pick-up gearbox in the supra- sounds daft to me but does anyone know?

doubt it. i would have thaught the gearing would be totaly different.
