Has any one done this them selves?

I seen a few ''carbon fiber'' ones, but im wanting to spray mine blue - to match the SAMCO hose colour - Il collecting alot of 'blue' bits for the engine bay.

Dose anyone know if it heats up like the engine block dose?

Shown it here - i HATE that discusting green colour :(

I did mine, stripped it first with Nitromorse then sanded slightly, primer, paint the laquer, not a bad job in the end, key is take your time and allow to fully dry before adding next coat

Do you need the paint that is heat resistant? or is it ok to use normal spray paint?

I have an idea to try too, im going to make a SUPRA stencil , and spray it on in chrome or silver under the toyota badge, would be a nice little feature.

What did you use to sand it? sand paper or fine wire wool?
