Ady
Just read the post in the FAQ and Guides and just have a quick question Will I have to remove the arches to take off my Veilside bumper? Or any other Bits n Bobs? I need to take it off so I can get the car on the drive - shes staying off road now, as ive only had her 3 months and dont fancy writing her off this winter!! Ady
cant you build a temporary ramp to get it up, couple of planks of wood etc? I had that idea but while the fron bumper is off im going to replace the Radiator Top Hose, and also on the cards is a Hard Pipe Kit for the FMIC. pete_TT
You shouldn't need to take off the arches to remove the bumper. Just jack the front of the car up, remove the wheels and then remove the front arch linings for better access to the bolts holding the bumper to the wings. Then get under the car undo the bolts/screws holding the bumper to the bottom of the car then open the bonnet and undo the screws holding the bumper to the front. The bumper should then come off. Hope that helps and ive not missed anything.
