glass headlights

I asked my local dealer for a price for glass and plastic. The glass came out at £98 before owners club discount, plastic were around £160 each. Can't see why they are going for £300 on t'internet. Having said that, I recently had to get a new front bumper from Toyota, came in genuine parts box but is clearly a cast from a mould. Really poor quality but the price had come down from £600 to £160. I just wonder if the toyota glass lights are the same?

the facelift plastic ones are more expensive around £400 because they are the newer updated style ones without the sidelight in the headlight.

the glass ones are the UK spec ones which have the sidelight still in the headlight but cost around £130 each as mentioned above direct from toyota.

not sure how much the jspec plastic ones are, but if you need to change id go for glass or the facelift anyway :)

well origonaly i was going to get the face lift but changed my mind when seeing them up close, i think the mk1's do look allot cleaner, deffinetly going to invest in some glass ones :D

i like the side lights, what you think of mine, i blacked them apart from outer rings, they are glass pre units, also my indicators will be tinted black and hidden behind mesh, cleaner imo.
