Nic Posted September 27, 2007 Share Posted September 27, 2007 Dump valve and Blow Off Valve are the same thing, click here -> BOV The wastegate is a valve which is either part of the turbo (internal wastegate) or mounted on the exhaust manifold (external wastegate). The wastegate opens at a certain boost pressure, to bypasses the exhaust gasses from going through the turbo, this regulates how much boost the turbo(s) make.
