Supra-Brett
My wheels are currently being refurbed, and whilst im at it, i thought that i might as well replace all the wheel nuts as well, as they are starting to peel/flake and dont look too good. Has anyone got any ideas where i can get a new set from ? Went to Toyota today who quoted me ~£4 per nut. They also said that UK spec and J spec nuts were different. I never knew that !! Any ideas ? garethr
eBay? Should find a set of 20 for 25-30 quid + postage. Edit: Forget that. You said you'd been to Toyota so I assumed you wanted nuts for the standard alloys.

Ive checked e-bay and all i can find is this for £45 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=290163450514&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=019 I do have aftermarket alloys but i didnt think that this would matter. Is there a difference between nuts for standard alloys and aftermarket wheels ?
JamesG
I replaced my aftermarket alloys with standard alloys and bought these wheel nuts: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230150474079 They are flat seated, whereas the ones for my previous alloys had to be conical.
