fri3ndly
Hi Please can someone advise me about doing this before I go ahead and do it. Basically I have a head unit in my MR2 which I want to replace with the one in my Supra. In the MR2 I have to completely remove the dash. Will I need to do this with the Supra, is it easy to do and if there are screws where should I look? Thanks
hadyn
Dead easy mate. Undo top screws on the top bit of the dash where the warning light clusters are either side. Pull that out and unplug the harness, the main dash panels will then 'pop' out if you pull them Locate the stereo cage, loosen the four screws that hold the cage in place and then unplug and remove stereo. JustGav
If you have airbags, make sure you disconnect the battery first, or at least don't turn to igntion without that top cluster install otherwise it will throw the ABS light on.
