Replacing Dizzy cap & rotor arm tomorrow

Well thats the job done :) Took it a wee run, it now actually feels like it wants to rev cleanly to the red line, I knew it was holding back a bit before !

 

Parts only cost me £25 as well so N/A owners have a look and see if theres much wear on yours!

Jon - thats what mine was like in the higher rev range, it just felt flat and unwilling.

 

Open the dizzy cap, only 3 screws and have a look at the metal contacts inside to see how they are. Look at the end of the rotor arm to see if it looks worn, mine was eroded a few mm in the middle, heres a pic to try to show the rotor wear :
