Brakes & suspension fitted

I am absolutly knackered, I never realised being a mechanic could be such hard work. I've got to give the biggest thanks to Michel for giving up his Saturday and helping me get it all fitted (and for the use of his garage facilities), he's a true star.

I went for UK Spec calipers all round (cheers Nic for them) with 3G grooved disks, Hawk pads & Goodrich hoses. We had a right chew on getting the back disks off until Ian got them off, we'd of been well & truly stuck otherwise (have to specially thank Ian as we would have been stuck numerous times and wouldn't of got the job done with him).

For suspension I went for RS-R Sport-I coilovers ( to Gaz @ Envy for these). Again getting the stock front shockers off the front was a right PITA.

We slogged on until 7:30pm and finished just as the night sky turned black. Going to bed the brakes in tomorrow & get the suspension setup myself (until I can get it to Motoscope for a full geometry & suspension setup). It's great to be able to brake and not have a juddering steering wheel (my old ones were well warped :D).

Will let you know what I think of the setup tomorrow, for now I'm just going to lye on the couch as every inch of my body is aching.
