Supra giving me some trouble

Guys while washing the supra i believe some water entered the distributor. Since then the car has been cutting if regularly when it is cold. Could some one tell me what to do PLEASE.

PS it drives fine when the car is properly warmed up...after a bit.

please note when the car is cold i have to keep my fot on the gas to keep it started

I would change the distributor cap, and the HT leads. (if it's an NA)

 

Or, you could park up with the engine bay in a dark garage. Open the bonnet and start her up. Watch for small sparks flying about. If you get lots of them, it'll indicate where the electricity is arcing, and hence what needs replacing. I've never used this technique in anger and I don't know how accurate it'll be, but may be worth a go.
