I've had an auto TT b4 and liked it! just wanted your pro's and con's on a Manual...don't suppose anyone will let me drive theirs to see? Jamesy Posted September 20, 2007 Share Posted September 20, 2007 i have always gone for Manuals - especially in sports cars - i like to decide when to change gear etc... plus the getrag box is nice n tight and feels like a proper sports car. apparently you loose a bit of power on the autos and get slightly less mpg (correct me if i'm wrong anyone? ) however, autos do have their benefits... kick back and just let it cruise along, no aching leg from the heavy clutch pedal etc! best to go and drive one of each fella.... and before you ask..
