just wanted to say thanks to joe and albert for sorting the aero catches on my car at the weekend ,first class job ,tested them out on the way home :D:D lot more piece of mind when your hood isnt trying to peel itself off at the edge and you can see the road through the gap:D thanks again guys

They did mine a few months ago and yes they keep the original Toyota catch so you keep the bonnet release as normal, they are great catches that are very stable, they are a bit of a pain to fit though I was told :D

 

i agree very stable bonnet hardly moves even at 70;) yeah i didnt fancy chopping my bonnet about :D best left to someone with patience i reckon

there going to have fun with my recessed ones then :) (the other kind but the same as those)

 

Personally mate, if its the flushed type that fit from under the bonnet then I wouldn't bother. The ones in Mike's pics give you a slight margin for cutting error whereas your version requires 100% cutting accuracy in order to look good.:rolleyes:
