Scooter Posted September 18, 2007 Share Posted September 18, 2007 I just think that it (paying) doesn't seem to be the way things are in Australia (maybe wrong here) and the US........the two main 'other' english speaking supra communities..........would we pay $20 to just see what's for sale on Supraforums? I think it puts these people off.........Lets take 2JZ-GTE as a recent example............talking about importing a supra to America, enquiring with members about a possible purchase etc.....soon is using up all the posts......reminded he cannot post further without payment after 40 or whatever posts.......so clams up and pm's his way round until finally calling it a day.... I can hear you all now saying "its well worth the tenner" but IMO (and thats all it is) despite this it puts people off and some foreigners (sometimes knowledgable, thought provoking, funny or entertaining ones) will not stick around............some may say no loss but sometimes i'd much rather see a few supra threads from abroad than the latest moan from some of our finest..........
