Guest aksu Posted September 18, 2007 Share Posted September 18, 2007 Hi can anyone help I have a 1996 TTsupra aerotop gz modell I had an accident and now my active spoiler does not work.motor is ok electric is ok but there is no power[electric] going to the motor,cause i have a flashing light in the dashboard and it says spoiler problem contact toyota dealer but in Cyprus there is no toyota dealer so can someone help or advise what it could be thank you Aksu Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
colsoop Posted September 18, 2007 Share Posted September 18, 2007 I suspect you have bent it and it wont retract properly. Another member had a similar issue. Chaffing of wiring or even a cut wire from the accident...control box is behind the radio...or do some continuity checks? Perhaps try make and brake conections to the control box?? Guest aksu Posted September 20, 2007 Share Posted September 20, 2007 The car went out of control at 50 miles and hit a tree and the active spoirler was out so when repaired the active spoirler never worked cause in the dash board the spoirler lights flashing indicates that something wrong with the spoirler so got another one but still the samething.i cant getr any pover from the switch coming to the motor.but all fuses and wires are ok,i ask toyota dealer but they dont know cause japanese import plus car in Cyprus ,someone said it could be the control panel but toyota dealer said, no ,so as you can see from the car the active spoirler is out and wont go in tjank you.
