Blue LED dash conversion

If you put a red led in without some kind of reflector, you'll just end up with purple numbers. It took me hours to get mine right, and involved cutting away some of the clear plastic behind the rev counter and building an enclosure to mount a single red led, just to illuminate the redline section.

That really does look good!

How difficult would you say it is for somone who aint too auto electrically minded? I can wire a house up, but auto schematics just look like someones been sick all over the page to me!!:)

I'd really like to do this as I've a couple of bulbs out and I might as well do them all while the dash is off. Anyone know of somewhere where one may purchase said LEDs?

That looks excellent. Where can I get this done? Or is it DIY only?

well took a few steady nights about 4 hours in total. Just take your time - no point rushin anything on a supra ;)

Hmm, 4 hours seems reasonable. Did you just follow the instructions from the web? (I forget the guys name, but I think he's a member here and he has a webpage with some 'how to' details on it)
