My Dyno-Can Anyone Explain It Please...?

I had the car on a RR this morning and was wanting to know if this is pretty much as it should be?

Is the 331bhp at the flywheel? If so is that not a bit low for BPU at 1 bar? I thought I read that it was very hard to give accurate flywheel figures for autos? Or am I talking ****?

Your 330 should be about right for rwhp, what would concern me is the afr reading, it looks very lean after 4k revs.

Yes, did the operator not show any concern or explain the graph

Yes he did mention the AFR was a little high.

What does it mean....?

Is the boost reading on the right or left?

Above the dotted line for the HP - if same for the bottom graph then your AFR's look around the 12.7's at 1.0 bar boost

Also I noticed a very slight misfire occasionally will this not help?

i would say from looking that the top one is at the fly and the bottom one is at the wheels

although I'd have thought 276 @ wheels at 1.05 Bar of boost looks low. I was putting out 321 @ wheels at the same boost level on the Surrey day last month (AFR's around 11.2-11.5)

What did you do to the fuelling when you upped it to 1.0bar? Have you got an uprated FPR in place or are you just running it standard? 12.7's would worry me, that is on the limit of what I would consider a danger...

hi mate the mr2 i took up only made 430bhp i was excpecting 500 at least..

tbh not sure that dyno is properly set up as they have just got it.

Hmmm, well thats made me feel a little better-My mate said to me they didnt appear to confident in what they were doing also. Was your AFR ok?

I have sigs turned off so couldn't see what you have done, as you haven't listed an FPR in yours though, I would suggest you get one as that could possibly be the reason why you have 12.7 AFR readings.

Shouldn't need an uprated / adjustable FPR at BPU and it's debateable whether you need one with a single turbo.

12.7 is getting into dangerous territory so I would suggest something is amiss - my money would be on a tired fuel pump - BPU'd Supra's usually fuel 10:1 AFR and below as standard (IE silly rich).

Just noticed your sig lists a walbro fuel pump - where did you source it from?

When they had your car on the RR, how / where was the wideband AFR probe inserted? Sometimes you get a false lean reading at RR's because jap exhausts have a very large diameter exit and the probe isn't far enough in the exhaust to be accurate.

wbo2 probes should ideally be in the turbo downpipe or 1st decat pipe thereafter.

It was a new part from Envy.

Tbh I have no idea where it was inserted. They had a H+S barrier between the workshop and RR so I was stood outside the workshop although close to the front of the car still...

Any other ideas/suggestions if thats not the cause....? I'm rather worried about putting my foot down now....
