Viewing numbers

Just something I noticed a while back and probably half the forum too, the number of people that have viewed a thread does not add up i.e. take Robs thread

It has 11 replies at time of this post but only 1 view?

I viewed it a couple of times, and with the amount of people online I do not think I was the only one to view and not post.

The view counter can take up to 30 minutes to update. It's been like this for as long for a long time (at least 3 months).
