STU_3LTR_TT
Wanted To Know If Anybody Has Fitted Carbon Fibre Door Cards, and If You Had Any Problems,or Are They A Direct Replacement ,many Thanks
Animal
They are a direct replacement, but there are no holes drilled other than for the door handle so you need to drill holes along the bottom for the mounting screws and also for window switches and speakers. I have relocated the switches from the drivers' side into the hole for the ashtray and binned the passenger side ones (a bit of cunning wiring had to be done for that). Also, I've not bothered with front speakers - I'll just be getting some decent components to replace the rear speakers. Have a search, there should be a thread of mine from earlier this year about it with pics. Mine do have a large-ish gaps along the edge by the lock as the door cards dont follow the same curve as the outer skins. Dusty was supposed to be getting in touch with Seibon about that, I must give him a nudge. They don't look too bad to be honest so I can live with it. When I get around to it, I'll get some strips of carbon fibre off my mate and cover the gaps up.
