R Black
Just wandering whats a good brake pad to go for specifically rears but i will be doing the fronts eventually too, i have UK Specs, for fast road driving not track, preferably not too dust prone either. Guest Chumpalot
Endless pads are pretty good mate. I've gone with some CW pads. Haven't had them fitted yet so can't comment on their performance.
Branners
stock toyota pads are very good on a UK spec, if you want a bit more braking then CW fast road are good and can stand a track day or two. Hawk and TRD are supposed to be good but it all depends how much you want to spend and what you need them to be able to do. JB
spidermonkey
I have jap spec CW pads and these are excellent so i would assume the uk spec ones are just as good
robin
I have CW pads on UK spec brakes. Very good bite, nice and smooth. I dont think I have ever been able to get any fade at all but then I think you would proberly have to be a nutter to achive that. A bit of a squeel when cold sometimes and at first there was alot of dust. Proberly just pads bedding to the disks though.

Bobbeh
Stick with UK specs, or you can save money and get the Hawks for £45 per axel from MVP. They're good, very fine dust and no squeal. Once warm they are great.

Gaz6002
Endless FTW. I've not driven a better pad on the Supra.
Homer
ive got some greenstuff one mine. (forget who makes them now) and there quite good for what i need them for (road) Noooo, not EBC! The EBC greenstuffs are far and away the worse pad I have ever used (albeit on the smaller brakes). The performance when cold was so poor it was dangerous, but when they got some good heat in them faded in no time - even with road driving! The performance when cold was so poor it was dangerous, but when they got some good heat in them faded in no time - even with road driving! I second that. EBC are not a good pad for cars like the Supra. They go quite well on smaller, less powerful cars I guess (read Saxo, Nova, Corsa etc) but are outclassed on cars such as ours. tDR
Hawk HPS+ on mine - outstanding braking performance with no fade even over several top gear top rpm pulls and drag simulation pulls whilst mapping but very dusty. Cheers, Brian.

Homer
hum well they seem to be working fine for me If they're "fine" now, just imagine what some proper pads would do
nige
CW Pads are really good but the dust is really real'y bad,It might be down to the discs, I have grooved and dimpled all round and the fronts are real bad for dust.

I don't have a problem with fast roads on stock discs. It's a little worse than stock pads but hasn't caused a problem even though I only clean the car every 4 months If I had nice aftermarket wheels I'd probably be cleaning them rather more often.
