skyline vs supra

hi a friend of my is going to buy a

r33 Gtr will i have a chance against him with a bpu supra?

is his GTR standard or modified?

yours will look better

not yet, but if he does so what will it land on in power? with chip exhaust and so...

Stock vs. stock they're all but identical, but easier for him to get the jump on you off the line.

i have tested a few gtr vs supras...

this is how i find it

stock vs stock = gtr will have it off line (not much) but then supra will catch it at higher speed and be pretty even.

stock gtr vs bpu supra = gtr will still have it off line (just), then supra will be level by 80 and easily overtake it and pull few cars.

bpu gtr vs stock supra = gtr all the way

bpu gtr vs bpu supra = gtr off line and pretty even top end.

these are my experinces but=

at the end of day it depends on the driver, conditions of the road and also how healthy the car is.

I think the gtr is slightly better when it comes to handling.

Thats cos it's got front drive where nessesary when it detects loss of traction, ie cheating

RLTC should help traction in the wet around corners giving you a better chance

i love the skyline v spec, i think they look much better than a stock supra although iv fallen too much in love with my supra i wouldnt mind a skyline

GTR would be faster like for like i suspect, around a track too due to the four wheel drive set up. As for which car looks better doing it, well thats an easy question to answer! stock supra with standard skirts and spats any time

I always thought the skyline was more blokey lol I would never want to own one, not saying the supra is girly though, just more sexy!

one is a sports car, the other a big family box from nissan (tweaked and made to go quite fast, but still...)

For me the GTR is a faster stock vehicle but the interior is just so bollox i wouldn't want to sit inside it. As I am not gonna drive it from outside thats the GTR a bit rubbered really. The R34 GTR however is a different matter. Nissan finally got off its ass and put some money into interior R&D, shame the GTR still retails in the £20k's
