Lukeyboy2k
hi is it true that turbo cars have to have a good run as i only live 2 miles from work (i start at 5 in the morning so biking is out) would this damage the turbos cheers jay I always let the car warm up before going on boost and always let it idle for a minute or so before turning the engine off. So, if I commuted 2 miles in clear road conditions I would unlikely use the turbos much at all - I'd just take it really easy and drive like an old dear. Rory
I dont know about short journeys being bad for turbos, but I also have about a 2 mile commute and I think thats what made my o2 sensors so dirty
