vvti wastegate

As mentioned in a previus thread, someone said the J-spec vvti wastegate was same size as the UK spec car. just did a full decat with 3" downpipe an blitz cat back. now I am boosting 0.8 bar without an RR.haven`t got any boost spikes yet but just wondering if anybody could confirm the wastegate size?
It`s a 98 vvti TT BTW.....
