Hello Mates,

Hope everyone is doing well, just wanted to make a post after seeing the rating that Mawby has posted. Just wanted to get the inside thoughts on what people were thinking about PHR and where they feel it should improve. We strive to be the best in both knowledge and satisfactory. We have had a wonderful reputation and very respectable customer service just wanted to dust off the idea chart and see if there is somewhere we can improve.

We always need improvements here and there cant always be the best chip off the ol' block. We can most certainly try though!!

I hope everyone will give a thought about this and lets see where this can take us! This will both help you as the community and us as PHR.

Thank your for your time,

Joe

I was one of the people who suggested more forum presence..

Happy to say, I've definitely seen more posts from yourselves which is a good thing.

Hey Mates,

Thanks for getting back to me on this but seems like we have got a bit off track. :) I can always get you guys some stickers to put on the ol' bumper if you'd like. :) If someone can get some good feedback like a magizine or something similar to that area then we could have some interest in sponsoring and giving a discount. Let me know also u have any thoughts about that!

Cheers,

Joe

PHR try hard and ship fast, so I have found. Bigger discounts would help :)

Sense of humour is always a good positive, especially with this bunch :p

A strong visible presence helps greatly with all sales in the car industry. Not sure its worth it but shipping a car here for a seasons drag racing taking in at least ten of the best would certainly put your name out there (couldn't see much this side taking on the mighty yank motors
:D )

More input on technical threads would help convince people that you know what you're talking about. Maybe the occasional well-argued monologue about why such and such is better than this or that (see Oilman for an example).

Yeah problem with that is alot of the stuff Joe does is subject to someone else saying that its a load of old baloney and can degenerate into bickering whereas the stuff oilman says is just scientific info. Upgrading turbo's etc is an art not a science. Why do you think that most of the serious tech heads here keep their traps firmly shut on here now?

...Upgrading turbo's etc is an art not a science...

Not so I'm afraid (the wrangling already starts!!! :D) - it's all measurable with known physics and a fully documented set of equations.

There are too many variables in the equations and no two engines are identical, throw in human preferences and the science becomes art.

Anyways Hi-jacked enough methinks.

Press of the good sort is what is needed to raise the profile of any company, that takes time and effort, all depends on if you have these to spare for the UK market really.
