BPU question

Hi. New to TTs' as my past cars were both na so excuse my ignorance!

My car is a 93 Jspec TT. It is currently fiited with a double de-cat (whifbitz) with restrictor ring. Also an RSR backbox and HKS mushroom filter/induction kit.

Reading up on BPU, do I require an upgraded fuel pump and fuel cut defender or is the engine ok on current setup? I don't hammer the car and it seems to be running well.

the fuel pump is just a recommendation as most supra fuel pumps are getting old now, and you dont want yours to fail while you're on boost, boom.

As for the fuel cut defender, you sure you havnt got one?

If not, when you hit 1bar for 3 seconds, u will get an almighty cut of acceleration, thats called fuel cut.

Either you have one, or you're not boosting past 1bar
