time to get the car service whats best

When you say service, do you mean a fluids and filter one, or a full one?

 

The full ones are rather extensive and labour intensive (eg shim check). I think we here can only recommend fluid and filter parts. IMO:

 

Timing belt: Standard Toyota

Air filter: Standard Toyota

Engine oil: Silkolene 15w50 (6litres)

Oil Filter: Standard Toyota

Fuel filter: Standard Toyota

Plugs: NGK BCPR7ES (If you are BPU @ 1-1.2 bar)

Gearbox: Standard Toyota (6spd)

Coolant: Standard Toyota Red (Though CW says any branded ethylene glycol is okay)

Axle oil: Silkolene SYN 5 75w-90

Here is what we recommend:

 

Timing belt: Standard Toyota

Air filter: Blitz LM Panel Filter - cheaper than Toyota and better

Engine oil: Valvoline 5w50 (6litres)

Oil Filter: Power Enterprise - £16

Fuel filter: Standard Toyota

Plugs: Denso Iridiums have never let us down

Gearbox: Standard Toyota (6spd), Motul Gear 300 (NA)

Coolant: Standard Toyota Red

Axle oil: Motul Gear 300
