I would strip out as much as you can from the car as I think big gains in engine power are going to be hard to come by, unless of course you add a turbo but I guess you had wanted to keep it NA?

Perhaps add NOS ?

no nos or turbo matey, i wanna see how much i can get out of the old girl, seems not many people wanna play with the na engine, shame as it must be able to give us 300bhp surly

*shakes head*

Without forced induction or N02 it will cost an absolute forture to get 300bhp out of the NA engine

Have a search, Chris Wilson posted some excellent advice on NA tuning a few months back.

Push it off a cliff or reduce the weight.

Vaguely remembering something about rotational weight so maybe so lightweight wheels etc etc

just gonna be interesting too see what sort of power i will get out of the parts i'm planning on getting, even if it's only a tad faster least it's still faster than most :)

Danger is you could spend as much as getting that TT you wanted and at the end of the day you will still own an NA which as good as they are will not have increased in value that much no matter what you do to the engine IMO;)

no your totally right mate, but i'm not looking at it like that, i know i will never make any money on it, been there done it with my motor bikes i had a 10k gsx-r750 which i sold for 5k a year on so i know from experience i'm gonna lose money, but i'm gonna keep my supra i love it, she has survived my crash so deserves a treat now lol as for tt's i don't want one i want a well sorted na :)

Fair enough mate, good luck with it ;)

You could always drop a big V8 in it, they are NA :)

lol i aint got that much money matey

Bet it's not much cheaper than modding the NA ;)

To be honest, if you're going to go all out on the NA, look towards a standalone ECU, throttle bodies, flowed head, uprated valvetrain, etc. It'd sound the dogs danglies, thats for sure.
