Tyre pressures for track day

With road tyres i normally start them off at stock pressures, then after 20 mins of driving or so check them again and you`ll find theyve gone up to around 40 psi, drop them down again to around 36, some people put a couple of psi in at the start to reduce tyre roll but i find they overheat quicker, if your on slicks start them off around 28psi and adjust accordingly, you need a couple of laps to get slicks to start to work though before that they are a bit slippy, have a good day, wish i was going but its the wifes birthday so no go.
