Never been in a single turbo supra and was wondering what the difference would be if comparing a tt 6spd and a t61 6spd?

i.e acceleration, fuel economy

there is no comparison speed/power wise, miles quicker, not as reliable, better fuel economy if driven softly as its mostly off boost...but lets be honest, thats not gonna happen ;)

have a search around mate, there is loads of info on here

A T61 would be quicker than a Stock TT in any condition fuel economy wouldn't be much worse and could be more economical if you can stop yourself from driving on boost everywhere.:)

not as reliable,

Doesn't that depend on how the conversion is done ? Not a dig at you personally - but this whole reliability "thang" only becomes an issue if the conversion isn't done properly. I think people should bear this in mind.

My T61 prior to selling it. never missed a beat during the 18 months of ownership AFTER it'd been converted. JB's car. Ian C's car. SecondJump's car.

There's a pattern there. Good kit & were converted properly.

I fully agree clarkey, maybe I wasn't explaining myself properly, in terms of the massive power hike naturally things will wear out quicker as aposed to them working at stock/BPU levels, increased power = more stress on components

Yeah, I'd agree with that. In the cars I listed, are all in the 460 - 600 hp bracket with stock internals.

Hmmmm. Some slightly misleading information there.

Anyway, touch wood mines been very reliable in the time I've owned it. 1 turbo bearing failure and one easily fixed oil leak. Apart from that it's been as sound as a stock TT.
