Yep, that's the best idea IMO;)

A fine and well looked after example. Will go to someone looking for a good one, good lucj buddy, not that you will need it :)

Thanks Daman,
As anyone who has seen any of my supras will tell you, I always go for low mileage, excellent condition cars. From there I only make what I consider to be sensible modifications.
Absolutely ANY inspection is welcomed and encouraged. I will also have the car detailed prior to pick-up by the new owner.

I welcome any questions and will ship overseas to Europe but this is not included in the cost of the car. You may also have to put up with me asking for a postcard from her from time to time.

This car is genuinely loved and will be sorely missed when she goes. I have a load more pics to take and some things I forgot from the spec so will make another update shortly.

Lewis
02-09-07, 18:01
I have updated the spec and added some further images including SOME of the docs (there is another full folder but it wouldn't all fit on the floor). For anyone seriously interested, I will go through the hundreds of docs and catalogue them as well.

You may notice in one of the pics that the front bonnet is raised slightly - this was due to me taking engine pics and hadn't closed the bonnet yet, I will take another to show the correct lining up of the bonnet.

Please do ask any questions.

Only one question: Why?

Only one question: Why?

Just the number of cars we have at the moment and the poor girl can't be driven as much as she used to. I have a new BMW on the way as well so I HAVE to lose something. Easily the most fun, she isn't the most practical.

I'm in no rush to sell and so will keep driving her as much as I can. I want someone to buy her who wants a daily driver and to really enjoy her.

Until I have the money from a new buyer I can still change my mind :D It is one of the best stock looking examples there is with the most comprehensive documentation trail you have ever seen lol.

It's my 3rd supra so no doubt I will be back. Just need to sort out the other cars I have and with another on the way

I just wanted to add that I also have a load of spares (including replacement light clusters, gaskets etc) which will go with the car. Also that the cambelt was done 3k miles ago so is good for another 50k+

Thanks

Hi you say in the advert it's bpu'ed is that a full bpu as you have only listed the double decat and not the restrictor ring, pump, plugs and fcd...as iam very interested mines going in a couple of weeks and iam in the market now for a TT.
Cheers

Lewis

I've answered this by PM but provide an exceprt here for anyone wondering the same:
Hi - sorry for the delay -
The car has 1.2 bar restrictor ring
FCD from Envy
NGK (I'll check that) plugs
Warlbro fuel pump

It is BPU I just didn't list every small part (There are loads I haven't listed). The only mildly debatable bit would be that it doesn't have an FMIC but the SMIC is in very good condition and so I see no reason to replace it.

What a nice interior. Lewis really looks after his cars, I'm sure this one is a stonker*

(* Brum slang for very good indeed, edited as I just realised probably only Burna will understand this word)

Lewis

Thanks Pete. It's a shame I haven't been to many meets and stuff in this one. People have always commented on how well my supras (and other cars are maintained) and this one is no exception.

I need to find some time to do a proper itemised list of everything included and all parts/fluids/servicing etc carried out. As the pics show...I have a lot of documentation for it, what's in the pic isn't even all of it lol.

I will warn prospective buyers....I won't let any chavs/pikey/boy racers buy it! I don't NEED to sell the car. I just want to see it used more regularly than I can at the moment. I need to stop buying other cars as well lol.

What air filter have you got on there, looks odd?

Don't just say something like that...in what way does it look odd? That's a very open statement.....
It is the only aftermarket that's supposed to be any good on the TT PE ImpulseII with hardpipe. £120 from Envy http://envyperformance.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=3591

EDIT: Should any new owner prefer the stock look/performance I have the complete original OEM system and can replace it easily.

How much for the car if you put it back to stock level...i spoke to you b4 about your car, but now iam looking for a standard one due to insurance probs.

TBH it is not something I would entertain doing. It would mean removing:

Decats
Electronics
Suspension
Strut Braces
Exhaust

It would be a pretty inexpensive thing for the buyer to do, I'm not in a position where I NEED to sell the car so I'd rather it just go "as-is".

I can't see any of the suspension being an issue with insurance, you can get a free exhaust from here very easily and the sale of electronics & other bits (like decats) should easily make a profit IMO.

Will be starting to advertise this on Autotrader etc shortly. I'd rather this go to a club member. Ideally with everything intact I am looking to get ~£9500
If you can source stock parts (like interiour, exhaust, suspension) I would take a lower amount and then sell these parts on. I don't have these to replace to stock.

This is a very highly prized low mileage, lightly modded, stock looking example of an original facelift.

i ono ?! I only wrote it :)

I saw the description used to describe the cluster of warning lights on both sides of the dash. I thought it worked so I used it. Is there a better description?

Oh right. I don't think there's a better description, but why bother. You might as well say that it's got spark plugs, rubber tyres, injectors, a crank, disk brakes, four wheels, wheel nuts, paint, glass windows, seats, carpet, a speedometer, tachometer, engine, fuel tank, yadda yada..

Good point, I didn't list that stuff ;)

Equally, why bother worrying about it?
