just a thought as the title says another meet for Aberdeen or a mini meet.
thats as much as i have came up with so far :d
so what do you think people
I'm always up for a meet although things are pretty busy until the end of October. Me and Keith are heading to Crail again 30th September.
i could do with another try at crail didn't do that good the last time:( but it was more fun just driving there

How about beginning of November for a meet normally pretty dead that time of year for any car related stuff and the weather should be OK.
think it could be the start of a plan .November the weather can't be much worse than what the summer was .
I missed the last one through car trouble so hopefully make it this time :)

I haven't thought up any plans of what to do and where to go .
the most i was thinking was we need another meet .
so we need some where to meet and meal of somekind just to say the hello's and talk rubbish for a bit.then have a run somewhere and thats as much as i have came up with so what would people like to do .
How about meeting at Castle Fraser just outside inverurie/Kemnay, would be a good opportunity for the budding photographer to get some good supe pics. Should be some moody sky about for some classy photos that time of the year.
They serve food and soft drinks and no entrance fee unless you do the tour. There Gardens are open from 0930hrs in November and the coffe shop and castle from 1330hrs so a 1330hrs meet up should work and then I am sure Eve could come up with a good route for a drive from there as she knows the roads in that area.

You do, Castle Fraser is on the route we took back from your folks house one night when we came through Kemnay so I was thinking from there out towards Torphins then maybe end up going back through Banchory or out towards Stracathro services for a farewell coffee before heading homeward.
Could even do through Banchory then a burn down the dual carriageway to the services to finish off. Just a few thoughts!

How about Sunday 4th Novemebr then, meeting at Castle Fraser for about 1230-1300 so everyone is there in time for the castle/coffee shop opening at 1330?
We can spend a couple of hours there, take photos etc....then head to Stonehaven and those heading south have an easy route home. :)

Would be interested in this meet, I'm in Peterhead, and Inverurie would be a nice little drive for a Saturday or Sunday.........might even get the top off my Aero!......if its not too cold!

Stock front I think. I have a vielside front bumper sprayed in silver but I dont want it. Im claiming my insurance . But when I phoned to find out whats happening they said it doesnt look good and they mite write it offf
I think I'm suffering from Rip Van Winkle syndrome, lovely day yesterday, got the roof off the Aero, drove over to Castle Fraser and hung about for about 40 minutes, but no-one turned up!
Got back into the office this morning, on to the computer and hey-ho, realised the meet is in NOVEMBER!!!!!!
Hopefully I'll wake up in time for then!

Well my flat in Arbroath is almost sold so I'll officially be becoming an Aberdeen member soon.

Yup, all being well I'll be along. Gonna head up to my folks in Peterhead from Arbroath on the Saturday morning. Spend a while washing and cleaning the car, then head along to the meet on my way home to Arbroath on Sunday.
Gonna have a look on Google and work out my best way down to Castle Fraser.
Any one else heading along from Peterhead then leaving down towards Dundee after? I drive the coast road from Stoney down to Arbroath every day but its so much more fun in the Sup.

Missed you guys today, saw a few supes outside my work at Lochter. Havnt been on here in a while, been away alot and missing my supe too much. How did the meet go?

We did ask if you were around but they said you'd left already :(.
Meet was good, great weather for it. Gonna plan one for next summer and hopefully get some activities booked at Lochter.
Great to see all you guys today. It will probably be next year before another get together cos our cars will be garaged for most of the winter in about a month's time.

Yeah that was a really good afternoon out. Nice weather, cold but pretty good for November. Was really good to meet the lot of you and see some more Supes. Its just given me too many ideas for what to spend my next pay check on ;)
Gonna have a look through the camera now and see if I got any good shots (i'll remember my velcro for next time).
Seemed strange heading home out of convoy. Look forward to the next meet.

Yup I'm thinking a camcorder and mount may be the order of the day for me. (we'll all need to record Eve rolling a Rage buggy if the next meet is as planned ;) )
Wookie, just be glad that you weren't in front of me on the run. My brakes are definately on the blitz. I'm getting the lights that you get when you turn on the ignition for having the hand break on coming on. Anyone know a solution? Who do you guys use for servicing?

Unfortunately, I have to go into work on Saturday & Sunday, so wll be leaving from the Petrofac office at the top end of Market Street(Aberdeen) around about mid-day & heading for the castle.
Best route from Peterhead is to head to Inverurie via Ellon, and then head out towards Kemnay.
When you enter Kemnay there is a garage on the left with a load of old landrovers, go straight through and on the other side there is a golf course on your left. About a mile or less from the golf course there is a turn-off to the left for Dunecht(B road) which I think also has a sign for Castle Fraser, the turn-off of which is about another half mile up the Dunecht B road.
Might be advised to get a map from www.streetmap.co.uk!!!!!

As far as i know that road leads to Indycarsars, nice cars but a bit expensive, good fun getting there only to discover i need to save my pennys for even longer!:)
