Pig
Will be watching the dyno when your car appears, how have you found TDI by the way ?? I dont want to tempt fate yet as i have not seen the car. There were A LOT of things that needed to be put right on the car. They have sent me plenty of pictures to backup there findings. I will be putting up pics of the finished work once its done, the difference in quality is another world though!
tooquicktostop
Yes they do have very high build quality and I would expect good numbers from your set up A little work they did for me on the R32
tDR
Good luck! T61 @ 1.6bar boost, I reckon 400 RWHP Cheers, Brian.
kieren1234
WOW, having a live camera of the dyno is a brilliant idea, what time will it be on the dyno then so i can check back.

Pig
If i get less than 400 at the wheels im not going to take the car. tooquicktostop
That looks awesome. What work did they do to your car? Sorry, bit off topic, their work looks very good though. The R32 was a JUN built car with a T88 etc and was VERY laggy, this drove me crazy so I went to TDI for a turbo change, ended up having a top end rebuild and the following HKS T04Z Single turbo kit HKS Wastegate HKS Manifold HKS Ti Racing exhaust HKS Downpipe HKS BOV HKS 264 Cams HKS Fuel Rail HKS 1000cc injectors HKS Type R Intercooler HKS F Con V Pro ECU Top end was rebuild with new valves, springs, retainers and polished etc I had all the bolts and anodized and the engine bay generally given a new lease of life by their very exacting standards of work, the car made 735 BHP on their dyno on pump fuel at 1.8 bar, it was already running a fully built JUN bottom end Anyway back to topic, sorry Jon
tDR
Is it not one of those (look at my lovely big power figures) dynapack thingies they use? So they'll say 500 at the hubs and that's the same as at the wheels..... but the figure will be very flywheel Cheers, Brian.

tooquicktostop
Car will be put on SRR soon after to compare figures See link for dyno type After the last dyno session on a rolling road ruined both my back tyres I would prefer my car to be mapped on a hub dyno IMO, I found TDI set up excellent and the car was fantastic when I got it back
Sheefa
Good luck John. You must be made of money though paying a visit to TDI. I've heard they're quite pricey but very good, true?
Pig
Before: After: TDI are not cheap, they do a discounted labour rate for club members, you get what you pay for though as you can see from the pics above.

tDR
But didn't Homer's T67 make 460 ATW? I was going for a slightly lower figure than that.

Thorin
I'd say 450 at the hubs. flywheel HP > hubs > wheels.
