Looks like about 45 NM for TT and about 28-30 NM for NA

I dont understand NM me self, i am old school and work in Foot Pounds, ie 400lbs ect;)

The graphs show torque in Kg force metres, so the TT gives about 45 Kgf-m which is about 325 foot pounds, and the N/A shows about 28 Kgf-m which is about 202 foot pounds of torque. Chalk and cheese.

its kg/m which is 10 times larger then a newton meter. If a supra only had 45 nm it would be a bit gutless

450 nm = 45 kg/m = 320 ft/lbs

300 nm = 30 kg/m = 217 ft/lbs

An easy way to look at it is that torqe gives you that kick in the back, that shove in ya seat that can be felt. BHP keeps ya constant at the desired speed once ya get there......well thats how i think of it:D

I tend to think of torque as the force the engine puts out per rpm so the faster it rotates the more work the torque can do and so the more total work or power.

Some people say things like "my punto HGT has as much torque as a porcshe boxter..." but it only revs to about 4k while a porsche is going to be more like 7-8k so they arent really comparable. A porsche could have a much shorter gear ratio then the punto for the same speed so the engine is doing more rpm and making alot more power and would be much faster.

In its simplest terms - BHP is how fast you can go, torque is how quickly you can get to that speed.

Torque- work (power/effort)

Power- rate of work.

It's best to have a shitload of both lol.

It gets complicated once you start adding gearboxes & final drives into the equation.
