but i didnt like it so took it off and its been sat in my utility room since.

 

But ive just been looking through the model differences chart and saw "carbonfibre/wood dash cover" and thaught hum...

 

The only ones ive ever seen have been the stick on things. This is more solid as you can see.

 

Has anyone seen this before?

yeah maybe. i don't use it. there is a little bit of damage where the pattern has pulled off slightly when i removed it but mostly its fine and on a dark dash anyway you wouldn't see it.

I dont think its an after market thing, as the car was totally standard when i bought it.

Sorry, I haven't got any pics to hand.

It looks like stuck on tat but it's very good quality and hard wearing. It looks nothing like real CF, frankly it's a piss poor imitation of CF.

 

OTOH the steering wheel is genuine CF and looks good.

 

 

I'm starting to doubt the dash is genuine OE now. . . :think:
