Anyone going? Last one of the season and I'm thinking of popping along. There's also an event on the saturday too but if I'm not working that saturday I'll be going to the St Leger instead so can't make that.

I don't see why not if the weather looks acceptable.

I went the other weekend and the mad Audi TT V8 was there, very rapid!

No vids, a few pics of it in the pits but I only stayed for the practice and then went to the seaside :)

Doubt I'll wash the car though, it's never been so dirty.

Took it to the jet wash this morning on the way in to work, it's still filthy but the cleanest it's been in months. Surely that's reason enough to attend tomorrow? :)

Sounds good enough to me :)

Will you be bringing the Pimm's?

Nope but I'll be bringing some money this time and possibly some sun cream, looks like it actually might be quite nice weather.

No I idea, I was planning to ignore you so maybe I did.

I've learnt to bend light around me thus rendering me invisible. I stood next to you for ages.

Very nice! I didn't bother with many shots because I snapped them last time I went but I have a few, excuse the gratuitous pics of my car, it was clean.

i was on front row way over to left a couple of cars away from a blue scooby.i could not be fussed with pics as i only had phone cam with me. was ok day out and something different to do than drag racing.walking round paddock seeing old classic cars was good.would anyone not fancy taking part looked fun.

took a couple of pics to prove i was there lol

I'd love to take part, just wouldn't risk it in the Supra, would get very expensive.

In fact I was discussing that with Michael, current plan is to get credit cards paid off then buy a low milage 1.8 MK1 MX-5 to be used purely to drive to and from track days. That way I can put up with driving with stiff suspension and semi-slick tyres etc. parts are so cheap for them too and there lots out there.

Not sure what you have to do to compete there but think you just have to get a time trials license which just costs you about £50 for the year or something.

Yeah, I thought it was some fancy custom thing, turns out it's a factory bike.

As for cleaning your car, I'll do the wing mirror for that :)

Does that guy you've used before do a proper job like that? Polish, wax, etc. etc.?

The mobile chap? He'll do a wax for you, makes a good job of it too.

I think I'll just stick to washing it every now and again, I'd feel silly getting it cleaned properly by someone when there's still big scrapes on it :(

If you get it clean I'd be happy to come round and see if we can shift some of the marks.
