kslb
What was wrong with it? Is it not possible that any problems have been resolved since you viewed it last year or was it major issues?

kieren1234
Yes, do shed some light on whats wrong with it, seems wrong to put people off a car and not spill the details. Im guessing there was major things wrong with it then.

razza
I had a full report done, posted up when I first saw it back in May/june last year if you can be arsed to search for it. Basically guy told me to avoid with very large barge pole, poor paintwork (have to T-cut it every year to make it gloss again, but in his opinion will need repainting again soon), pretty much filler on most panels (both rear panels were pretty much filler- reckons a hard crash at some stage), serious oil leaks, no underchassis sealant and corrosion evident etc. etc. the list goes on. It did look a nice motor when I viewed it, but didn't know the issues it had until I got the report (I'm only just starting to know my arse from my elbow when it comes to cars). It was up for £10k with 5k miles less on it a year ago. Maybe the new owner has just realised the issues it has and is getting shot. After I showed the results to the owner at the time his words were "I won't let the next guy do one of those"...make you're own mind up from those comments Some of the minor issues I can imagine could be fixed for under £1k, but you can't change the chassis and panels cheaply... I know it's an old car and you expect a few issues, and sometimes these guys that test them don't know supras well enough and air on the side of caution. However the same guy did the report on mine and said they were like chalk and cheese, and that's with me having to do a few minor things to it.
