Daston
Ok planning on smarting up the engine bay and have a load of silicon piping in different sizes. However what I dont know is what hoses can I change. Obviously dont want to be messing with fuel, oil or water. The current red one is from my boost gauage (I didnt fit that) Are there any I have missed or any that are not vac hoses?
edge
Get some decent rubber hoses instead!
colsoop
the first picture the l shaped pipe off the cam cover has oil vapour in it. The 3rd picture is of the power steering pipes and they have oil in them. 4th picture those hard pipes that you have highlighted on the abs are not replaced by silicone hose, you simply slice the hose and pop them over the hard pipes securing with cable ties. Chris Wilson
Plain silicone hose (that without a fabric type liner) is a retrograde step, don't do it.
Steve
I would use the vac hose from this place http://www.fuelsystem.co.uk/Hose%20Connections.pdf
