Hello guys,

Rob.... the attachment was my car. My mate cut the bonnet by drawing the outline and then using masking tape filling in the area of the vent, and cut around it using some special blade.

You have to be carefull as u have some supports running under the bonnet.

Rob, how about fabricating some recessed vents from sheet aluminium to draw the air through similar the JUN bonnet.

I've never wanted to fit a GRP or CF bonnet, but have thought about modifying the stock alu bonnet in a similar way. There may even be ready made aluminium vents available that you could get welded in.

Yeah Nic, ill mod my own bonnet if i do anything at all.

I have had a carbon bonnet, it didnt match/suit the black of my car, it would have to be painted and a GRP bonnet would weigh a ton :(
