hello what does a supra tt auto normally do mpg wise

i keep putting 15 quid in every 45-50 miles seems expensive to my NA manual

The worst I've had is 16mpg (town driving) and the best is 22mpg mostly on the motoway.

£10 usually lasts me 50miles

Best ive had is 32mpg on motorway on Vpower

32mpg how did you manage that? I think I might have too put my right foot on a diet.

Either you drive like a madman (which will do mpg on TT auto even worse) or your O2 sensors are gone. Soak them in lemon juice for a night and try to measure mpg again.

Back of a truck.. haha nah i dont know.. just worked it out after the tank needed filling up again to the miles i'de done!

lol, so what is considered to be the norm for a TT auto

I normally achive 17-20 but on a longer motorway run at legal speeds it got 33.6 mpg

My MPG had being getting worse and worse recently then I changed out the manky old air filter. Managed 350 miles and still had just over 1/4 tank the other day shame I had to fill up for a long journey I was going for the record LOL.

I get 18 mpg knocking about and 36 mpg on a run in my Soarer TT which is the same engine as the Supra.

where are the o2 sensors located?

I got 330 miles out of a Full tank on Saturday around North wales not much Motorway work just up and down the valleys Tesco,s 99RON

Does this sound too low? Should I clean the O2 sensor?

I would say it is too much for reasonable driving, but then again you can be stuck for ages in traffic...

Wrong reading from O2 sensor can cause this as previously stated, think there life is estimated at 50k

P.S. i get about 24mpg.

does the o2 sensor come out if the two bolts are unbolted?? looks a bit tight to get a spanner in

Yeah its a bid fiddly but can be done with a few extesion bars and bendy bits ( i have no idea what the tools are called)

I get 300 if i go on a long motorway run, But i normally see 150 - 180 miles from a tank and i do drive it hard.

Thats it decided then , when my car comes out of the paintshop this week I will be cleaning the o2 sensor!

I get 17-19mpg almost all the time. If I can get it up to 22-23mpg it would be more reasonable.
