There's some strange results there. How where the flywheel figures calculated? There seem to be an awfully high % on the manuals for transmission losses, especially on the big single cars?

And some of those torque figures seem ? Like how does jaymdee's car produce more torque than power?

Edit to add, good comprable figures with you and IanC, looks like his cams give the extra breathing to get that just bit more than yours

Good job daryl on organising the day :)

Still annoyed with mr keefs car would be easily 650@fly if i got more than one run to bring the 4 degrees of timing i pulled back in ( do this to find MBT on the dyno) and the fact that the tyres were hitting the arches.

Ow well he only wanted 500@fly :D

Apparently keefs cars set the record for stock cams tho

16% transmission loss on the manuals, give or take (probably worked that out wrong!), the rolling road works it out so there is variation between cars.

Oops, made a mistake on Jaymdee's results, going to go and correct it now...

The comparison between Ian's and my car was interesting, they've added the two on a single graph which I'll scan in later. I also got one comparing my car to when it was BPU (taken just before the conversion).

Thanks for organising a great day Homer

Generally pleased with my results, but could do with more boost lower down to get the Torque curve up a bit earlier in the rev range. I guess that's the advantage of a Boost Ccntroller over a restrictor ring.

Nice pics graham, pity I forgot to put my centre caps on after having new tyres fitted yesterday evening!!

well there goes the idea of the vvti getting finished :D

Nah, the boss has insisted that is on the road for next summer, so it is a case of finding a trustworthy garage to do the final bits (already got someone in mind though).

I guess the s13 will alternate with the supra as the daily driver.
