View Full Version : Sh*t day, top it off with toner and lasagne
Having a right boring day at work today!
I desided to make abit of effort this morning put a nice white shirt on trousers shoes etc like im surposed to everyday and what happens!
this morning i spill black toner on the right hand side of my shirt and down my leg! grr
and just now dropped lasagne on the left hand side of my shirt so what do i do... i go to wipe it off and have lasagne on the hand i just wiped my shirt with so im now cover in toner and lasagne NICE!

I'm having an ace day.
All I've done is take photographs.
I also spent ages trying not to laugh at the office whizz-kid who decided to change the blue toner on our new UBER photocopier without reading the instructions and spill blue powder all over the floor.
I failed.
I am at home, browsing t'internet between getting abused on my mobile by irate customers!!:rolleyes:

well ive been to heathrow to patch in a few servers and fix an ip address problem with another. now back at office in reading, but just about to pop out for lunch.
trying to get next week off, fingers crossed

I work for a printing company i do loads of different things but this morning i was printing some building plans so i have a big printer that takes large bottles of black toner, i was changing the toner and it just puffed out everywhere! lol
Glad some are you are having a nice day anyway.. Im just looking forward to leaving early and getting down the bodyshop tonight :)
haha sorry to laugh fella but that brings back sooo many memories.
i went to change a toner once (like i had done tons of times in the past) but as I pulled the seal/strip off the bottle the toner just exploded in a mushroom cloud, i got coverd! pretty lethal stuff if you inhale it!
my days is seriously dragging :(
My day's pretty average, got a chassis waiting for test outside, might just get the new guy to do it though.
Problem is, I've got those tummy rumbles that can only mean I'll need to rush to the bogs some time soon, and it seems every time I have to drop off the kids at work the cleaning lady comes in the toilet just as I'm pinching off!!!

haha no probs it is worth a giggle i look a right mess now white shirt cover in black and orange crap! Just hope i dont have any surpise meeting this afternoon :D

Power was off on one phase from 21:00 last night. Genny been running since then. EON have been trying to fix with power on/off etc.
Thank God we bought that fat UPS and generator! Still - it's not very comforting when the guys fixing it say they've no idea why it went off in the first place. :blink:

My 1st day off today in 2 weeks, arranged lunch with my mate yesterday and he's just pulled out... so my days turned into a boring day off! Will wash the car a bit later, too hot here at the mo, will do it about 4ish :)

So far my day has consisted of looking at Thorin's wedding photos, chatting to various people on MSN and attempting to negotiate a new contract to continue you my dossing ways from September onwards. Compared to usual it's been quite busy I guess.
Time for a bit of a nap now though, I've done too much.

hahahaa. I remember when someone at work bent over and ripped their trousers from waist band to waist band between his legs. It was hilarious.
I laughed hard at work once with a gobful of tea and got it somehow all down my white t shirt. Proper quantity of it. I went to Next with my coat buttoned up on a warm sunny day to buy a new one. Must've looked like a flasher.
Today, and seemingly for the last three weeks, I've been fending off idiots with a stick, and dealing with a petty power-hungry cretin who is just begging to be offshored.
I've just confirmed my return to work date:( as I'm on maternity leave at the mo. Is it bad that I'm quite looking forward to going back. Thought about going to the gym this morning, then thought better of it:d

I've spent 2 hours from 9:30 this morning in a boring presentation on Marine. I've then been for lunch, but the office is dead with people away on annual leave.
I have massive amounts of work to do, but I don't really know what I'm supposed to be doing so I browse the internet. It's only a matter of time before I either get fired or bugger off soon. Still, the pay is good but pointless when you can't enjoy the money you have each month!
Work is utter shite.
